RE Homework
|
|
Homework must be completed by the deadline set by your teacher. Homework tasks can be
found in AFL booklets in back of exercise books.
Homework will be submitted on the due date. If you have completed all homework you will
be rewarded by commendation. If you do not complete set homework, your name will be
recorded and parents will be informed by a letter.
Your parents/guardians should sign and date to acknowledge that they have checked your
homework and read this information.

Year 7
Term 1
|
|
Research through use of internet some basic facts on the Four Evangelists:
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
|
|
Draw an illustration that describes a story from the Bible that you learned about
in primary school. Write a sentence to explain why you choose this story.

In your opinion, why do you think that the Bible is an important book for
Christians? Write a paragraph to explain your answer.

Write five sentences explaining what you know about Jesus.

Make a scroll; equipment needed – toilet rolls x 2, cello tape, sticks x 2,

person to be executed and by what method. What crimes could people be sentenced
to death for and when was it finally abolished?

Write a page in your exercise book explaining why you are either for or against
capital punishment. Conduct a survey of 10 people on whether they agree and
disagree and why. Record these results using ICT.

Book the Qur’an means and state whether or not you agree with it. Give reasons

you have thought about more than one point of view.

Use the internet to research the work of an environmental organization such as A

related issues as well as recent articles in newspapers and magazines. Print off
an information sheet with your findings.
