instrument, etc).

Term 1 - Harmony, Form & Structure

Pupils to research the composer Pachelbel.
Practice Pachelbel’s Canon.
Evaluations and Targets for next project.
Research 2 or 3 of the musical forms studied so far.

|
Practice playing the 12 bar blues sequence.
Research the two Blues performers.
Complete lyrics for Blues song.
Revise for a test the second week back after Christmas.

Term 3 - Pictures at an Exhibition

Bring in a suitable picture or drawing for next lesson.
To make a factfile on one of the following composers: Tchaikovsy or Shostakovich.

- Write a comparison about how different TV channels use music in their
news programmes. Are they any common factors?
